I think that Red Lobster Chedder Bay Biscuits brushed with garlic butter are great and for a more traditional biscuit...Cracker Barrel are first class also....IMO

My husband stopped in Burger's Market a week or two ago and noticed that they have fried chicken sandwiches on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. I think someone in front of him got the last one so he didn't get to try it but, he has been talking about it ever since. He was told that they only serve them until they run out. And apparently, they run out pretty early on Tuesdays & Thursdays due to the Collegiate kids. The butcher told him that the Saturday frying is for us old folks. Has anyone on this forum tried one?

Not yet but I do think this will make for a great destination on my walk this Saturday afternoon!

I work with people who go EVERY Tuesday and Thursday. I don't eat chicken so I can't comment - but they must be pretty darn good! I've never heard of them running out though! School is out anyway.....

Could he have been there late?

I can't remember exactly what time he was there. I think maybe he was picking up some item I had forgotten & needed for dinner (probably around 6ish). They close at 7pm on weekdays. We don't have kids so, I tend to forget exactly when school is in or out of session. Perhaps there's a chance we'll get one of the sandwiches next week with no competition from Collegiate. Please report back if someone else on the forum gets one first.

Ah! Got ya! My coworkers go for LUNCH twice a week. I imagine they could definitely run out by evening time. Even without eating chicken, it does smell very good in there on their frying days!

Cottage Inn has great chicken, but the sides are a little bland.
