where is everybody?

In between the restaurants there is no traffic. It seems that those of us who have not left town are enjoying the tastes of our own hometown.

I guess we should enjoy it while we can!!!!

Good point. Nobody quite loves church picnics like Louisvillians do.

When I was a college student in Ohio, I had the hardest time explaining the concept of the church picnic to those dern Midwestern Yanks. They were used to festivals or something -- the same basic concept except with much less alcohol and gambling.

I too have noticed the lack of traffic on the roads this summer... I have also noticed that my bus is much more crowded than normal with lots of people standing for the trip in from JTown too....

I think the gas prices are definitely taking their toll.
