Blake: I think you just reached an all time low on this forum by calling someone a "dick". Whatever point you were trying to make at 3:54 am was really lost after you used that kind of language aimed at someone else on the forum. Really, really bad form.

Flaming is not welcomed here, Blake, especially to the host that provides this forum.
I have not posted here often but have read civil and polite disagreements over the past two years.
I'm sorry to be off topic and don't like to see threads devolve into something else, but that crass post is not true.

An observation:
I think Robin is extremely tolerant of Robert and he is only called on the most erratic and trolling posts.

Now, back to the original topic, please!

We do enjoy dining out, but we are consciously choosing less expensive places right now. And cooking at home a bit more.

It's 1:09 and Blake hasn't replied yet, probably still recovering from the hangover resulting from a condition which could be the only excuse for his atrocious comments -- or else he's ashamed.

It's a Saturday, and it's 1:09pm?
Well the answer should be obvious.

The guy was probably at work (in a kitchen), sweating his ass off.

Knowing Kollker as well as i do, i'm not the slight bit surprised to read his comment, though i find the ensuing drama to be quite hilarious... and "stirring the pot" as it were. Which i'm sure was part of his intent.

touche.

I put vegetables in your desserts, white chocolate with your fish and other nonsense stuff that you think shouldn't make sense, but coax the nonsense into something that makes complete sense in your mouth. Just open your mind, mouth and eat.

As you can see, Ethan, hilarity did not ensue. I think gaffe is much more fitting than touche in regards to Mr. Kollker's comment.

I've been a member of this board for over 3 years and seen plenty of flaming. Done some myself. Some may be more subtle than on this occasion but it DOES occur. I have also seen a bias based on who posts such flames. There is definitely a clique on this board, of which I am not part of. So, you who are offended, grow a little skin and just get over it. I have. Such is life.
Great food along with great company is truly one of lifes best treasures.

There was no "ensuing drama". Nice try though.

While I agree with some of your post Blake...I do not agree with the use of that word in describing the host of this forum....
