I know Norma and John were very thankful for the wonderful recipes and the hard work you did for them. We are still sad you are no longer there but Chris is taking off and coming up with some very creative items as well. John and Norma we would be there however heading out of town tomorrow. Andrea Hope all is well and thank you for the comment on little Emma she is very beautiful to us and her pic is in the front window of NJ's. I also love La Grange as it has a real small town feeling and where else would a shop keeper or several for that fact want to display a picture of your child because you are a patron. I will hopefully post a pic sometime when I get on my other laptop.

No problem Ned, Chris was a good hire by them, he definitely takes things seriously.

I want to extend a warm thanks to Norma and her staff for the meal my mom and I enjoyed today. The food was wonderful, the staff treated us like family, my mom loved the ambience and it was very nice of Norma to come visit with my mom and I for a while. The place stayed packed but everything was running very smoothly. It was a special treat when the train came down the middle of Main Street. Norma Jean's really is Trackside. Again, many thanks to Norma and her staff.

Oh, I almost forgot to thank Andrea for the cute little bunny rabbits you made for the guests today. My mon thought they were the most darling things.

We, too, had a fabulous brunch at Norma Jean's this morning. We went about 9am since we did not reservations and it was totally full by the time we left. Everything was wonderful--we can't wait to go back. Bob ate his weight in biscuits and gravy!!! Neither one of us has eaten another bite all day!! Not only did we get to meet and chat with lovely Norma Jean but got to meet Sherri and Ned's precious 2 week old daughter, Emma (recognized her pic from the forum!!). Thanks to all who worked to make our Easter special.

Norma called us and asked us to come in so we went their first thing as well and it was getting full. I was glad that some forumites came out and had a good time. I was glad to see it busy and left full as a tick. They had some wonderful country ham little pastries that were a treat. Also the waffle was wonderful. Thank you Carol for the nice comments and saying hi to us. I think Norma went out of her way today and would like to thank her. Sorry we didn't see you Doogy but glad that you had a wonderful meal. I have found that given some notice Norma and John are always willing to go the extra mile for patrons. Thanks all who came.

We were there but unfortunately didn't get to meet any forumites - we hit the 10:30 hour and again, ate our weight in everything. Those country ham tartlets were to die for! I'm glad your mom liked the bunny cookies, Doogy, and I'll have to meet up with you next time. My shop is just down the road and I am in to see Norma as often as I can. The food is always great and everyone feels like family. If Norma is not too busy, she often holds our baby so we can enjoy our meal. Our 3-year-old loves her to death and he always gets a special treat from "Miss Norma".

Ned, did you make the amaretto cheesecake? OMG, yum! I was full as a tick and I still had 2 pieces. :D

Nope That is Chris's cheesecake. Normas is becoming Cheesecake Factory East sans the ads in the menus. I understand you still want to have the throwdown sometime. What looks good for you? Sorry we missed you but look forward to facing off

Cheesecake throw down? Maybe it could coincide with the BLT
throw down.
