You know, Doogy, to be blunt, I can't think of another forumite who offers the same amusing style of social graces that you bequeath on us.

Let's have a poll on ME. Based on the outcome, I will either go or stay. Let the 846 decide.

what's the deal with all of these ultimatums, threats to quit the site, and the like? It's all going to be ok, I promise.

As I have said to you many time before. This is a website where people come to express opinions. So, most of the threads are full of posts that express opinions. You are absolutely, 100% entitled to disagree with everyone of them, but as long as you keep getting exasperated every time someone criticizes someone or something you are going to be frustrated all of the time. It's ok to criticize chains. It's ok to criticize non-chains. It's ok to criticize food critics and their reviews. That's what we do here, we praise what we like in the world offood and we criticize what he don't. If we didn't do this, the site would be nothing more than place to issue press releases.

The headline was correct in the printed publication.

There was a disconnect between the newsroom and the online department.

It's been fixed online.

p.s. Thanks to Doogy for defending me. :)

I don't see where anyone here attacked you personally.

Hi, Lisa ... it's really nice to see you here!

I hope it's clear that my having a little fun at Velocity's expense about the "it's" was not in any way an attack on you. I've been burned by copy editors so many times, I KNOW reporters don't write the headlines.

Hey, wait, aren't you a copy editor, too? ;)

Hi Robin, yes, I am the copy editor, which is why I'm a bit sensitive about the subject and wanted to clear it up.

But no worries. I can take it.

I am all for the poll. However, being as cold as it is, I would suggest being for ME for only about two months of the year.
Dump ME for the rest of the year.
