Some of my co-workers and I attended this event last year, and we were talking about it at lunch today wondering if there would be one this year. Is there any word yet on if this is happening?

YES! It's ON, and LouisvilleHotBytes will be a sponsor again. I might even be a sushi judge!

Watch this forum, LouisvilleHotBytes, LEO and presumably all the other media for details.

Sushi in the City 2009 is slated for March 11, 2009. Tickets are going on sale February 1. They are $75 and $65 for members of a young professional organization (since the event targets young professionals). Robin has graciously accepted our request to be a judge this year!! I will start a new thread to post information on how to get your tickets. A little inside information-- we are still working on signing up the last of the vendors. We have around 20 invitations out for ten spots. Cafe Mimosa, Sake Blue, Kansai, RAW and Maido are on board so far. I'm excited to see who the last five spots go to!
