I'll give you that.

Okay, Steve, I'm guilty of overstatement. But with something like one-third percent of all Earth's people (2.5 billion) using Facebook monthly and a full two-thirds of all Americans using it regularly, it's a connection among humankind previously unimaginable. And not matter how much of a twit we may think Zuckerberg is or how much we fret about Facebook and privacy, I can't really imagin not taking advantage of what it offers. Others mileage may vary, that's fair.

The loufoodtruck link is out-dated above, but I support the point Steve is making. Many commercial accounts have updated tweets/facebook available to non-subscribers. Its in their better interest to cast a wider net one would think.

Sorry, Robin, I was guilty of over-reacting as well. And I admit I’m capable of nursing a grudge for an unhealthy period of time. I’ve never been unable to untie that knot from 2016. I’m looking at you, MZ!

I use Instagram and Twitter, but the LFTA Twitter has been dead for a year and Instagram has screwed up its algorithm to the point where timely updates from user posts are almost accidental. Didn't mean to kick off an argument about the relative merits of social media!

It's all good, Ron. :) Discussion and debate is what we do here. 8)

Maybe I should take that ancient HotBytes Twitter Foodtruck feed and update it. I got lazy because it was hard to keep up, but under current circumstances ...

Actually, that Twitter feed still works, kind of.

It severely needs updating, though. Let me get to work on that.

I was referring to businesses not having a Facebook presence. They obviously can't have any visibility without having an account. You are certainly correct however that individuals can browse and look around all they want to without having an account.

Leah's association page is a good reference for the food trucks that belong to the association. I'm trying to rebuild this Twitter feed to make it easy to keep up with current posts from those trucks and non-member food trucks as well. It's all helpful and all good, but I hope we can come up with a fully comprehensive Twitter list that covers everyone.
