Crab cakes

Mark, I got my crab at Highlands Seafood in Chenoweth Square (not Middletown!). They have 1 lb containers of Claw?, Lump and Jumbo Lump. We got the Lump and plan to make them this weekend with the Old Bay packet that Kim recommended. Will report !

Slightly veering off topic, claw meat makes great crab soup and it’s almost that time of year. It’s a tomato-based, late season veggie affair that is worth the hours of effort. Claw meat is super cheap and probably the most flavorful which makes it perfect for soup. If you see a good deal on claw meat, buy it.
