The meatball sandwich at Melilos and the steak at the Place Downstairs if for no other reason than the bone marrow fritters!

I miss JRB in general. I met my husband there, so it has a special place in my heart.

I'm going to go ahead and vote for the fried ribs that used to be on the Cuban truck you'd run into at car lots on Shelbyville Road. I am completely blanking on the name right now, but you guys know what I'm talking about.

Chi Chi's seafood enchiladas. Yes, it had the imitation crab meat, but was still damn good.

Although probably nothing by pizza snob standards, I have good memories about the BLT pizza from Pasta Pizazz.

Taken from the online menu of Cafe Lou Lou; although last time I was at the Loop location I was told it was no longer available.

Having only been in the area a short while, the only place I frequented that is now closed is the Blind Pig. Oh how I loved the Pork Rillette.

Be impossible to re-create, but man I miss the sandwiches from Benny B's. I *worshipped* that place.

RIP to Thornberry's as well...their Chicken 'N' Dumplings were unreal.

Yeah, it was one of the many concepts that Tony Palomino "Boombozz" started over there. Sadly, I assume he couldn't find anyone to take it over, so it was one of several really great ideas that bit the dust. The Queen Anne sandwich really spoke my name. (Nah, my name isn't Queen Anne. But I loved the multo-veggie sandwich on multigrain.)
