Also Kevin Ashworth at Milkwood. I had a really nice dinner there last night with some standout courses. Ex. Lamb sausage, octopus bacon, miso chicken, and the charcuterie.

I'm hard pressed to think of any female chef under 30 in town who is more talented than Kendall Knies. Although she is a pastry chef, last year alone she competed for the National Student Chef of the Year at ACF National in Las Vegas and at the IKA Culinary Olympics in Germany. She also was the commis for my friend Chef John Schoop from Virginia, in his quest to become a Certified Master Pastry Chef. That's quite a list of accomplishments. These competitions are nothing like most of the stuff they show on TV and are much more serious and quite prestigious.

Kelley Hendrix the Sous at Lilly's is excellent.
