Robin, I think it's the shiny black finish throwing ya off...Nothing "Weber" at all about this grill (nothing wrong with Webers though...I own 5 of 'em...down from my high of 8 ). Primos, like BGE's and others are solid ceramic and this particular model weighs in at around 250 pounds.

Got it! And yes, it was the shiny black look what fooled me.

I'm a big fan of Webers myself. I own ... um ... one of 'em.

If it's me...and money is no object, I'm plopping down $1400 bucks for THIS Mac-daddy by Primo.
