Or, in this case, what's obviously better owing to the distance it had to travel from where they make better beer, to where they don't, but if that doesn't work, we can check RateAdvocate.com to be sure we'll all be seen drinking what's (ahem) best according to someone's else's subjective standards.

Did I write that out loud? :D

Heh...heh......heh....He said RateAvocate.com....heh...heh  I tried reading some stuff on that website once or twice but kept running across reviews written by sissy's who made statements like:

..."Big floral pineapple and grapefruit aromas, sweetness, mango. Yum. Flavor is heavier on the bitter pine up front, some earthy dirt (in a good way), with some beautiful tropical fruit lingering on the palate"...

or one of my personal favorites:

"Served on tap in a Tulip Glass at the brewery as a sample
"...

Thank you Paula.

We currently offer complimentary bar snacks such as nuts, goldfish crackers and so forth. We are working on meat & cheese offerings for those wanting something more filling. We don't have a kitchen, so any ideas or leads on places or other businesses we could get pre-packaged food options from would be very appreciated. We also sell local cheese and spreads that some people choose to eat while they have a drink.

Hours are 3pm to 11:00, Monday through Saturday. We have some inquiries about renting the place out on Sundays, and we are trying to think that one out.

Thanks and regards,

Doug

The place is near where we live. It's a option on the bike route. (I prefer safe bike routes and Norton Commons is a safe route. We enjoy watching the homes being built and feel like it is an idyllic setting - like Seaside FL - nothing wrong with idyllic.) It was fun to stop and have the beer while over there. Remember there are three restaurants in Norton's plus the market and the gelato so those are some carry in food options that perhaps Commonwealth will allow. A food truck occassionally if Norton's allows? Karems caters the summer band concerts. Smoker out front?
We aren't the outspoken beer critics that most are on this site. But we won't drink 'water' either. I'm not against outside of Louisville, because I might not drink Hoosier beer. You see, where do you draw the line? :-)
We just came back from Florida where finding good beer can a challenge.
We did find a cork and brew pub on our last day and loved it. They did an interesting thing. Had their beer and wine list running digitally on tvs. You could scan their food menu and voila, the up to date beer list.

To celebrate my birthday,, Anoosh & I joined the best of friends at Commonwealth Tap tonight.. We will definitely be back soon-- What a great place! Saw lots of friends, comfortable stools around a high top, and very reasonable prices on a diverse wine/alcohol/ beer menu..Next time we may just buy a bottle of wine there to enjoy on the spot... either way, we will definitely be back.

So glad this is so close to home... :D :D

Wow, this place rocks for anyone looking to try some wines. I stuck to the 2 oz. pours of the "expensive" reds they had on tap and came away very impressed. The 2 oz. pours seemed sufficiently large to me, and the smaller size gives you the freedom to try several wines. It's worth noting that the 2 oz. wine is the same $/oz. as the 4 oz. wine.

I'm by no means a wine connoisseur but nonetheless...

My favorites
Sea Smoke Pinot Noir
Shatter Grenache
Enchanted Path Shiraz/Cab
