The background on the page is hilarious! A wrist watch, a five dollar bill, and a skeleton key?! Sounds like McGuyver's recipe list for a way to jump start a car! That is one odd website, it is now bookmarked. Thanks Robin.

The wallpaper on the website are photos of the Rathskeller Room at the Seelbach. Weird.

Heck, we've got some pics of some "friends of ours" on the walls at Impellizzeri's in the Highlands. If you go in, look for the black and white pics near the bathroom. See the guys in dark suits sitting on picnic tables by the lake. They came down from Chicago once a month to take care of any "issues"

If it is the same guy he forgot to mention this restaurant! If you look at the places he's worked he seems to be taking a lot of credit for positions that in many cases don't really deserve it. It also makes it sound like he's never actually consulted for any restaurant yet.

I thought this part was pretty odd on the Rates link of the website:

I can be hired on an hourly basis for $50/hr or you can utilize me as a manager for a period of 3 months, where I will guarantee an increase in sales for $11,250 at 50 hours per week with 2 consecutive days off.

How do you suppose one can derive a number like that?

All,
Assuming this is not the same guy, I'm not seeing anything wrong with the way he's presenting his qualifications- it's basically his résumé. The sales numbers are quoted as size of operations, not that he's responsible for it. He got his accounting free at Uof L and now he's looking for some consulting work. Alot of restaurants could use some extra focus on P&L. Let's give him an open mind on being able to deliver results.

from "pretty good"...to "pretty horrible"...

as big fans of The Baxter (movie house), my wife & I had *really* high hopes for this place.
I dropped in there for a quick lunch the first week they were open and, despite a few "just opening" blips, it was a very nice - albeit very pricey - lunch.
went back with my wife a couple of weeks later - things had smoothed out, another nice lunch, but still very pricey.
then we went back about 6 weeks ago (lunch again) and now "the young & terminally hip" had taken over the place - staff & customers - and we (and others) had to ask for the music to come down - this was not a danceclub.
wife made a final visit back aobut a month ago with co-workers for lunch. place was *infested* with "the young & terminally hip", service had gone completely in the crapper and that was "turn me on the grill, Bubba - I think I'm done"!
So - still nuge fans of the Baxter, but someone else needs to give that location a try....

(btw, if you've missed "the young & terminally hip" staff @ Christofers, not to worry - - I think they're all working (?) @ The Comfy Cow on Frankfort, now!)
