FYI: There is a place several doors down from Havana Rumba (toward Thierman) called Royal Indian Restaurant. When I checked on Saturday, they'd said they were set to open this week. Sounds intriguing...

The only thing is....PARKING! I guess you could go park by Walmart or Big Lots and walk.

You're welcome Heather! DH and I had a lovely lunch at Meridian last week. yummy! It's so nice with all the vegetarian choices. Makes it easy for me. Now a question for you. A lot of your dishes are named after people. Who are these people?

Yes I know..... we got "CARRIEd" away with the names.

The dishes are named after family, friends, and our cooks. The main characters are:

Mike's sampler- Chef Mike
Heddie's Best French Toast-- Me (nickname)

Kate's toss-Mike's lovely wife Kate
Izzy's artichoke - Mike's oldest daugther
Maddy's bagel sandwich- Mike's youngest daughter

Lior's Lox plate--my hubby
Big Dave's hash- our oldest son
Daniel's turkey wrap- our youngest son

It started out with names that the previous owners had started, and we decided to continue it.

It'll be interesting to see how or if this affects the Rover. I really like both restaurants so hopefully it'll make for some interesting menu changes or additions.

I've been to Molly's in the highlands several times and I've found their food to be most of the time exceptional, however, their service is where they are seriously lacking. Along with O'Shea's... what is with these places? It seems like they are adequately staffed but you should not have to wait 10 minutes or worse for a refill or for a check! One would think those servers would be trying to turn their tables as fast as they could.
