Best Burgoo in Louisville?

Frank's Meat and Produce at 3342 Preston Hwy! Had some for Derby, very savory!!!

F.A.B.D. always has it on the menu. I can't speak for how good it is.

When they have it-it's good. So is their bean soup-especially when cornbread is available.

I am no expert on burgoo authenticity, but Harvest is currently offering it on it's Spring Menu.

Again, I am not qualified to judge it's authenticity, but i thoroughly enjoyed a bowl tonight. It had an heirloom tomato base with just a little bit of kick, and was loaded with slow cooked pork and rabbit. I believe it also had corn and green beans.

I would definitely recommend it.

I Googled "Burgoo & Louisville" and it appears that Mark's Feed Store also has it on the menu.

I wouldn't give theirs to my worst enemy, unless they've tweaked the recipe under their new ownership. When I tried it, it was beef stew with a little red pepper kick.
