Thanks everybody! I didn't mean to turn this into a "happy birthday to me" thread, but I really appreciate the attention!

Deb, I was too anxious about the "working while dining" aspect of the night, so I took the stress out of it and made dinner for us at my dad's (cooking is therapy!). Thanks to Gary for the suggestion and I'm sorry I didn't oblige, but this was a perfect night for my circumstances. I made roasted vegetables, roasted tomato soup, surf and turf, and brought the leftover pumpkin cake and persimmon pudding that Shane and Donna gave me over the weekend (cheers big ears!). Happy girl tonight :-).

When given the choice between cake or death, I'll always take the cake.
