I believe that Buckheads in Jeffersonville has a back room that can hold up to 100 people. Nice views overlooking the river as well. We've had several meetings there in the past, and they do a great job taking care of everyone.

December is going to be tough for most places as it's high " event" season. Another thought: maybe the new IceHouse event place? I don't have any experience with them, but since they are relatively new maybe there are less bookings. http://icehouselouisville.com/events/receptions_rehearsals.html

Thank you for all the suggestions. This is a fabulous resource.

We would prefer a restaurant for the dinner (as opposed to renting out a space and catering) in order to simplify the process.

Has anyone attended an event at the Bourbon Barrel Loft at BBC at 3rd and Main? According to their website they can do a private party for up to 130.

Do any of the other new spaces along that stretch of main street that cater to YUM have big party rooms?

Any ideas on whether the old Park Place venue might be available with catering from Against the Grain.

Bristol Downtown's back room can do 100, maybe more.

SheilaB,
The Four Roses Bourbon Barrel Loft at BBC can accomodate parties of that size. Feel free to call Melissa Purvis and she will be happy to give you any details you may need. The contact info for her is 562-0090 or Melissa@bbcbrew.com for more details. You can also find information about the Loft on www.bbcbrew.com.
Thanks!

the space above Doc Crow's can handle it, and Doc's can cater . . . I think it's weirdly shaped, but may fit you perfectly

also, Lynn's can be rented out, especially good for a fun rehearsal with a lot of out-of-towners!

for 100, try Marketplace in Theatre Square . . . great spaces available with wonderful food
