I really dislike black licorice and jelly beans. Growing up I always picked out the black jelly beans and gave them to my Dad, who likes them. Fast forward to college and years after, and I would always buy my Dad black jelly beans when I saw them solo as a thoughtful "thinking of you" present since they are his favorite.

Imagine my surprise last year when I saw several black jelly beans and offered them to my Dad, only to be told "no thanks". When questioned, he admitted he was never particularly fond of licorice and only started eating them "because no one else would "..... :shock: :lol:

I actually just bought some of those and while the flavor is pretty good, the consistency is too "gummy" and just stick in my teeth.
