Well Antonia, how the hell would we know about this might I ask? :? I was about to get a little cross with you young lady then I checked out your blogger's profile. Aside from the fact that you've revealed nothing about yourself at all there I saw that you've only been doing this since August. Slightly mollified.

Your Hillbilly Happy Hour post was all aces Antonia - you're a natural story teller. I don't have time to read these other posts yet and I don't want to rush but I do want to thank you for sharing your talent. "The Vampin Lady" is a moniker that inspires vivid imagery as do your words. Cheers "A"

Yeah, I read that...I still didn't think it made sense unless you're saying you only want to see German restaurants downtown.

Love, love, LOVE Hillbilly Tea. Every. Single. Thing. Aboutit. My service has always been perfect, so colour me lucky. I've definitely had a couple of "young but wise" servers, so I think those charged with hiring have done well. I've only ever been grateful when I've looked at my receipt after dining there, and exceptionally happy that they're with us in Louisville.

Any reference to any ethnic food in the Ville? Only Kentucky Fried Chicken?
I am not fond of the word hillbilly - I live in Louisville not Kentucky - but with the added word 'tea' and once you get in there...
Have always eaten downstairs but wandered upstairs the last time. Had a Butchertown Pub flashback:-) Will have to dine up there the next time.
The presentation is amazing. And the food and beverage is so good.... I am surprised that the infused vodka wasn't called infused moonshine:-)
Thanks for the reminder. We haven't been there in awhile.

Those of us from other parts of the state who now call Louisville home could take offense. . . :x

Not really meant that way, Brad. I spent some very happy months working with a church in Bardstown last year. Just having a little city-boy's fun.

Thanks, Shane. Don't worry; you aren't the last to know, by far. I didn't NOT tell people about it deliberately - I'm just not much of a tooter of my own horn.

Regardless Antonia, your blog is very entertaining and should be shared and appreciated. I've now read all of the pieces and will endeavor to keep up with it. I hope you won't be reticent about referencing it here though to remind me. Cheers "A"
