We eat outside whenever possible and will gladly patronize places places that institiute a smoke-free patio policy. That said- I'm starting another thread to get input.

First let me thank everyone for the support of Rye. It has been a fun past few months, and we are getting stronger everyday.

The patio opens next week and will be non-smoking. It will seat 25-30 people and will have an outdoor bar.

Michael,

Thanks for the info. Is the patio on the street, or elsewhere- I don't remember seeing it when I was there?

I assume this is the patio on the east side of the building adjacent to the parking lot?

This whole plan has me super excited. Rye's already becoming my favorite but this solidifies it.

Michael-
Can you post this to the "smoke-free patio" thread too? That'll give us all a master list to go to for smoke-free outside eating ( Yay!).

Yes I will post there.

The patio will be on the east side, between the building and the parking lot. We are starting landscaping this weekend and the furniture will be put in place by mid next week.

The entire project including garden beds should be done before April 17th.

Thanks

That's great news about the patio.
