Have you been to Corbetts? We did a tasting menu with wine pairings for an anniversary and it was perfect. They tucked us in a cozy banqette (sp) and the atmosphere was great. Perfectly paced and great food.

Before reading the whole thread, my two recommendations were going to be Corbett's and Volare. Both have excellent food, stellar service, and very romantic ( personally I've never felt that way about Le Relais). For your truly special dinner, I'd go to Corbetts if it was my choice.

Comments on the above . . .

First, I can't believe I forgot Marketplace! Very different from all the others mentioned, but gorgeous decor and food. Maybe not as romantic, but different from almost all others, and you'll have a great time (finishing off at the bar listening to the jazz and having an after-dinner libation).

Corbett's and Rivue both as good as indicated . . .

If you tell Limestone that it's your birthday, they will do some stuff with roses that will make the occasion romatic also.

Dang it...it's a hard decision....Volare, Majid's, and Le Relais are neck and neck now. lol

Think I'll just go with Volare and spend the extra money (allotted. lol) on wine.

Go to Volare, and then after dinner to Majid's for a drink - best of both worlds!

Now this sounds like a great idea!

That actually IS the plan! Going to Volare for dinner, and then to head to Majid's to see Stephen! Can't wait!!!!
