David Garey in Paris KY has chicken, pork and eggs. Happy hunting. I would be happy to provide contact information if you would like.

Andy,
I know Duncan Farms and Garey Farms are at Farmer's Markets- do you know if Marksbury is at any market? Everything I've had at your place from them has been exceptional ( though I know part of that is you. :D  )

I second Franks on Preston. They are so friendly too and the prices usually end up being lower than Kroger. I have some major issues with Kroger meat. I've complained countless times, locally and to corporate with no results.

I really like buying my steaks, chicken, burger and roasts from Costco. A lot of their meat is either Prime or Choice, and as stated on the news the other night, they don't add the "pink slime" to their burger meat.

The meat I've gotten from Costco has been (for the most part) superior to what I've gotten from Fresh Market, and at least as good (and in my opinion better) than what I buy from Mike Best. (although I still do like to shop at both of those places on occasision.

They also (I think just on weekends) have free seafood on offer, although it's not something I'm interested in, so I haven't paid much attention to it.

If you have access to Costco, I encourage you to go in and see what they have to offer. In my opinion, it's better and less expensive than most places in town. I really couldn't tell you if it is locally sourced since I didn't ask, but I do know part of Costco's business model is to buy local when possible.

Viet Hoa on Preston for seafood. Wear a coat; the place is always freezing cold inside.

Preferred Meats in Sellersberg has nice stuff and quite a bit of it is local.

I don't think anyone has mentioned Butchers Best in Prospect yet! They certainly are at or near the top of most people's list.
