2011 Year End Recap

my own disappointing experience was echoed pretty frequently on Urban Spoon/Yelp for a while.

It's actually quite encouraging that whatever complaints you saw have since died down. Sounds like the owners realized the direction their staff was taking them and they righted the ship.

Decided to check out the Holy Grale this afternoon. Had a great time. Brendan the barkeep was friendly, knowledgable, and professional. I met the guy who publishes the Food & Dinning Magazine, a couple who had recently moved from Michigan to Bardstown and were only now discovering what a foodie Mecca Louisville is, a UPS engineer who has lived here for a year and is looking for a Blue Grass filly to complete his life, and a girl who was showing off pics of her brand new bike on which she plans to make 100+ mile a day road trips this summer. She was eating the poutine frites bless her healthy heart.

All of this was going on while they were being visited by the city health inspector. They passed.

I give them an "A" myself and can't wait to return. Cheers!
