Congrats Trish! I remember you like to bake. Great coffee, you can tell your customers you're serving one of the best coffees roasted in this state.

I'd follow their brewing directions. There is a shop nearby that serves Sunergo coffee and they do not use the proper amount of coffee. People come back and get hooked on that good, rich brewed coffee, not the weak stuff.

Congratulations, Trisha! Excellent choice on Sunergos! I was going to suggest Java because I know they have a good local competetive edge, and Consumer's is by and large a good way to go, too. But I want you to know that the main coffee staple in my house is Sunergos. Absolutely LOVE their beans. I don't get down to E-town often, but the next time I do, I'll stop in and say hi. I really am so happy for you and remember the first murmur from you that you were working on opening your own place. Bless you, and happy holidays :-).

Love Suergoes, bought plenty of beans from them. The only knock that I have is that they never take my suggestion to offer at least one darker roast option.

Thanks, everyone!
I decided to do this for real only this past October. It's been a fast move to make this a reality.

Brian, Kenny from the Woodlawn Ave location is actually coming down Monday to help us check and clean all of our coffee equipment. THEN he is going to train us on how to make the specialty coffees the RIGHT way. They showed us the difference in steaming the milk the "quick" way versus the "right" way........omg what a difference a few seconds and some know-how made! Their view on coffee and customer service won me over before I even knew what the wholesale prices were going to be. I can't wait!

You're in great hands with Sunergos. They've got fantastic coffee and, as you've already found, will take care of you right.

That's great. Their shops are not close to me so I don't go often - but when I do, there is no doubt they only do things one way - the right way. You can just tell they are coffee encyclopedias. If you take advantage of their knowledge - your coffee business has a chance to grow.

Trisha,
No one mentioned us, but my business Red Hot Roasters would be interested in talking with you. We are a small batch coffee roaster, USDA Certified organic and family owned. We provide coffee for several restaurants in town as well as selling to retail locations throughout the state.
My family is from Hardin County, we actually grew up in Sonora and my brother (also my partner) still lives there. He could stop some samples by any day.
Please look us up at www.redhotroasters.com and give a a call 502-569-0000

Thanks!

Sondra, I'll certainly testify that your coffee is as good as anyone's and better than most. :)

Many thanks to Dan, Will and Mark for the kind words regarding Consumers Choice, our product and service. It is true that there are a lot of places that will sell you coffee in Louisville. But we sell more tan coffee. We sell poduct, service and expertise in our craft. And we've been doing it longer than anyone. For over 40 years now.
