Clearly, my post reflected only on the college sports rivalry between the Universities of Louisville and Kentucky, and not the fine people who work in establishments touting the any of the teams' sports. As you know, it's quite heated, and diehard fans like me take every opportunity to make childish jokes such as replacing the word "Blue" with "Barf." No need to read anything into my post such as a hope that you'd be unemployed. Being unemployed sucks. Hope someone snatches you up soon.

No need to go any further explaining. I understand and am probably just over sensitive to this after losing my job. As far as the rumor goes, I know as of yesterday that no deal has been finalized as to selling the business. I also have no info as to who the prospective buyer is. The owners of Big Blue Country were very hush hush about the sale.

Yes! Loved Harry's, and there was usually a hot-dog vendor set up just outside on weekend nights.

The Recovery Room on Frankfort Ave has closed it's doors as well.

That space has gone through a lot of places, but with the Silver Dollar opening across the street, this little section of Frankfort has the potential to turn into something special. I would love to see a good restaurant open next door to me.

Good grief, that was quick. Guess the city didn't need another place for hipsters to drink PBR, after all.

I believe a restaurant or bar called "Q" is planned for the spot where the Recovery Room was. I don't know any details, but I'm curious about whether the name is a reference to barbecue.

A couple years ago I posted a note on here about how I had dinner at a restaurant and noticed that the math on my bill (which had been done by a cash register) was wrong and that I had been overcharged by about 5 dollars. I didn't want to name the restaurant because I didn't want to get sued, but now that they've closed I guess it's OK to say it was the Tequila Factory. Needless to say I won't miss them.
