Sunday evenings work for me after I get back from Bardstown. Monday evenings are out. So are Tuesdays and Thursdays.

How about Wednesday evening on the 16th at 6:30pm? Does that not work for anyone?

That's open for us, but don't we often do Sundays to accommodate our industry people who can't get away on week nights?

16th at 6:30pm works great for us too.

If you'd like I will coordinate with Jim at Martini and see if we can arrange something special for the group. I appologize for my ignorance in how you do these offline events. Please give me some idea of the typical event such as price range and any other details that might help. I know they can accomadate any special request, but advance notice would be nice. Will we be able to put together a confirmed list of attendees?

I'm definitely open to Sundays, but I was trying accommodate Melissa, and so far don't see any other conflicts with Wednesdays. We can keep it open for discussion for now - I was just being antsy :-).

Jerry, these things are all over the board, so to speak. I think that typically it's a group reservation that doesn't beg for any special treatment. There have been dinners where the group just threw the menus in the air and let the chefs do their work, though.

And yes, we try to get a firm count in advance, for sure.

Robin I love the menu toss idea and allowing Chef to create. It really allows them to showcase their talents. Should I check and see of Wednesday the 16th is available?

Wednesdays are a no go for us. Sundays work for us, but please let the majority rule.

We are wide open too! The only nights I know for sure that may not work for Martini is Monday and possibly Thursday as bad.

     .....You ARE new around here aren't you Jerry. The words "fat" and "chance" come to mind.

Joking aside, here's the standard math formula....You take the number of "confirmed" attendees, you subtract 20% for the people who cancel at the last minute...subtract another 20% for the people who don't show up but never bother to cancel ( You know who you are...). Then you add 12% percent for the people who suddenly have an opening in their schedule...YOU do the math. :P

Ya'll stop me when I'm lyin'.

Exaggerating, yes.

Sure, some people don't keep commitments. But 40 percent? Nah.

Try for authenticity without the curmudgeon stuff, Steve. It's better that way.

Sounds like Sunday is the preferred day. How about the 13th at 6:00? That's 2 Sundays from now.

Sunday the 13th works for us, Jackie. The 20th is okay, too, but it might be getting close to Thanksgiving for some.
