Beginning Friday(Oct. 21) we will be carrying different styles of Klaus' pretzel bread. This will be a learning curve to find out the most popular varieties and quantities we will need in the store.

Feel free to call ahead and place an order. Thank you.

On Wednesday I went by Nuts N Stuff and got four of the Pretzel Bread Croissants.

I made Bacon and Tomato Croissants with them last evening. A little bit of Duke's mayonnaise was spread on the bottom half of the split croissant. OMG. You all know how when you go into Williams-Sonoma's and it is really food porn. Well, these croissants that Klaus is baking and NUTS N STUFF is selling… CRACK! I made just one each for us. Suzi was about 2/3 of the way done with hers and asked, "you're not in there fixing the other one, yet?"

They are better than any other croissant I have had for BLT's. I swear there must be about a half a pound of butter in each one. I very very lightly toasted them, more a good warming to bring out the butter flavor.

The pretzel bread is great, but these croissants are all that and a cup of coffee and bag of chips and Madonna singing Happy Birthday at your party.

He only gets15 a day. I asked why and Paul said, "that's how many fit on a tray in the oven". One tray is all he bakes. Come early bring cash.

You can call and order a tray. I don't know if he'll hold any for you or not. But, do go by and get a couple and enjoy.

Nuts N Stuff, Barret and Kentucky. You may not see at the Farmers market - Health Dept stopped sales at one because not was not plastic bagged. It is my understanding that it needs to be in paper bags because in plastic it will "sweat". Nuts N stuff had plenty just a bit ago.

We serve a good many of our lunch sandwiches on Klaus' Pretzel Bread, and I must say they are quite delicious.

Thank you. We had seen it at the farmer's market but last week didn't. Thought it had sold out. Ellen

With the opening of the deli counter, Garden Gate Market at Breckenridge and Bardstown Road now has a large selection of all types of pretzel bread seven days a week. We like the croissants. We have never found them sold out.

Also Garden Gate has a good selection of cheeses, condiments, fruit & produce at good prices. I am a regular customer.

Bought an assortment today. Since we were in the neighborhood, stopped at Beignets for breakfast. Really good as always.
