Jamie, Please know that I support you. Sometimes it's difficult to read around the posts, but mine are totally "Pro-Jamie". Don't leave us, give this thread a day or two and you'll see that other Hot-byters will say nice things to you. There ARE very good people on board here. If it's worth anything, I beseech those that like me to say something sweet to you tomorrow (never asked a thing like that before, but it's worth a shot). Robin, I am not earning tar and feathers. When someone in town comes along and creates
"heatedbytes" and stabs a green jalapeno pepper for their logo, and starts chasing your advertisers (which shouldn't be hard because Neiman Marcus,and other National chains look at all opportunities for advertising) and some of the chefs that blog here, also offering coupons for local restaurants as an incentive to come and read the blog, to start their own food blog. You will feel what others are feeling.

Also, if hypocrisy was a crime, there would be a lot of arrests made at Hotbytes.com

Jamie, yeah I am sure it was your shop...right across from Pappalino's. Me and the three kiddos went to the zoo (labor day weekend) and then for pizza. They immediately saw the cupcake shop and demanded cupcakes.
I DO greatly appreciate your offer of giving you guys another try. I also understand the opening bumps. When we are back in that area of town, I'll certainly pop in again!

Thanks Deb! I am not new to the industry just new to the forum, In fact the restaurant biz is pretty much all I have ever known, not even 30 yet and almost been in the industry half my life The most recent place before starting my own business was working for the last 5 years at Ramsi's Cafe on the World. I'm not going anywhere lol. I have to much pride to be scared off that easily I just didn't want to start off on the wrong foot or may I say "leave a bad taste in anyone's mouth" so to speak.
