We were all fans of Chef Ryan Rogers' food at Zanzabar and were eager to try the menu here. We began with both the Charcuterie and the Cheese and Crackers. The selection of meats was an excellent appetizer--mortadella dotted with pistachios and served with coarse mustard, salty prosciutto with a sweet bacon crumble, and pate made of rabbit's liver to smear over toasted house-made currant bread. The cheeses were just as remarkable--the star of the show was the peppery Sapori d'Italia served with sliced strawberries...
Seriously, GO.

Garrett thank you for coming in and taking the time to write such a wonderful review. I know Anchorage can be a bit out of the way for some folks so Andy and I are trying our best to make sure every customer knows that they are appreciated and that we love them coming in.
Hopefully we will see you in again very soon.

I just checked out their Facebook page out of curiosity and the food being created there looks absolutely incredible. It has made my must visit list on my next trip to Louisville.

Unfortunately it does look like it's up to date. The menu they are presently showing is the one for last weekend.

Mark,

Their menu changes every two weeks. I was there week before last, so I'm pretty sure this is the second week for the menu they have posted, and t's still correct. Yum!

Unfortunately it does look like it's up to date. The menu they are presently showing is the one for last weekend.

We usually run a menu one week and then a similar menu with many of the same items that we really enjoyed the next week incase someone missed it the first week. This week we've made a few changes to last weeks menu including the addition of duck confit tacos, a tomato tart with an arugula salad, and the shrimp dish has changed to bbq shrimp and watermelon with Fathers Proscuitto style Country Ham. We removed from the menu the Kajiki Crudo and the Duck Leg Ballontine.

I'll update our facebook with this weekends menu when I get in.

Thank you for your continued support!

I urge everyone to go and check out this phenomenal tapas program. I went with my wife and my parents this evening and was completely blown away by the deft work of the kitchen. Charcuterie and cheese, tomato tart (such a great point/counterpoint exercise), beef short rib (!!! the seeds on top were a brilliant touch), duck confit tacos, fried "bologna" sandwich...good goddamn. Well played, Andy and Ryan. Well played.

Michael,
We were there again on Friday night and you are right- everything was fantastic! We are having a hard time deciding our favorite: the short ribs ( incredibly tender and great depth of flavor) or the Rabbit Pot Pie (great take on comfort food). We love splitting 3-4 things and getting to try all the great flavors ( and having a reasonable bill after all those great tastes  ). So happy we found this place!
