Good to know. Was about to head over to Mi Preferida to pick up some things I needed for a batch of enchiladas - I think I shall wander over to the little grocery on Old Shep instead.

They lost my business. Plain and simple, don't mess with the originals. End of story.

No proof? Pat C is directly involved, Bill. I think he knows what happened to him. A bunch of us know him, so he's not exactly a stranger here.

"A reliable source told me that the reason the health department was complained to ..."

Hardly proof.

Any one could have called this in. You would be surprised by the number of complaint called in daily to Metro dept's. It was just a matter of time till he got caught. It crossed my mind call it in.

There are at least two sides to every story. And then there's what actually happened.

That is really weak. If I said what I really think about your idea, I would probably be banned from the forum.

Stupid regulation anyway.

Remind me to never jaywalk around Bill R. He might make a citizen's arrest.

You were probably thinking the same thoughts I was, I like you didn't post them for fear of being banned. I'm glad you figured out a way to express those feelings in a Politically Correct way!

Hey guys, I would never post something such as I did if I was not sure it happened. Granted the rules are 14 days for a mobile food service in one location. And yes many people could have called and complained. However the complainant verbally reprimanded one of our mutual vendors in regards to "stealing one of his customers", and then told him he won't have to worry about us much longer as "they" are going to get shut down. meaning us. Not a big deal tho, we are working on a new locale in the same parking lot different owner. Then all we need is one more spot and we then begin a rotation. Unfortunately for louisville and the state their tax dollars from us will be substantially less as we most likely wll lose business from the moves. This is the last post on this issue as far as the complainant except for discussion of how the law or ordinance can be changed, and any thoughts from y'all on where a good location would be for us to move to.

Don't know the name of the shopping center, but it's in Fern Creek on the west side of the street with the Beef O'Brady's. Not sure about going to a parking lot that features other restaurants, but that's a good location and not far from your current place.

Excuse my ignorance on the topic (and if it has been covered before), but do these food trucks actually sit there in the lot 24 hours a day, or do you guys drive them home every night?
