Offline is a great idea! I can only imagine the spread they could put out for such a thing.

I'm fine with an offline (and would add that I'm talking with the folks at The Coach Lamp about possibly doing another.)

Space would be a consideration at I Love Sushi & Teriyaki, though .... what's its capacity, about 24? And the payday loan place won't let parking expand into its space. :P

As I wrote in my review, I love that place too, but I'm really afraid that location, location, location is and has been a restaurant-killer there.

Went in again last night and was happy to see a decent crowd and it looked like a good bit of carry out going out the door....
There are about 30 seats in the place not including the benches on a couple of wall and an additional 8 or 9 seats at the sushi bar...
The check cashing place was closed so parking wasn't an issue...

LOVE the Bulgogi... Ask for it extra spicy if you like heat!

Mary got it too, and we reviewed it. EX-cellent.

So, shall we move this offline idea forward? We should probably start a separate topic and call for a show of hands and a date, then move it to the Offlines forum from there.

Went there this past Tuesday for date night. Very good and it was a great value! Both had salad, soup, 4 sushi rolls, dumplings, edamame, and dessert for $30! Hubby had the spicy tuna roll and it was overflowing. This is our new, go-to sushi spot!

I will claim once again that this is my FAV sushi spot in town now......it's well worth the trek out from Middletown, and is a good value. If an offline is going to happen, be sure to include me....
If life's a Banquet, what's with all the Tofu?

Cheers!

After all these wonderful posts, I am definitely going to have to give the place a try. I must admit I wasn't too keen on trying it because I thought the name was dumb. Showed me, huh? LOL!

We went back again the other night and had the Yummy Tempura Roll (my new favorite) and the much hyped Bulgogi (worth every drop of praise), and we are still in the love with the Spicy Tofu app.

In my humble and limited opinion, the best sushi in Louisville and best value!
