Thanks Robin - I didn't know if that was a kick-off time or a regular one. I'm shooting for 3pm today, but if AP isn't open I'll get by just fine with BoomBozz's :D

Thanks!

I believe that they have valet service.

I did see the valets, but I've heard some scary stories about valets. While I don't drive a 'vette, I'll stick with parking my car myself.

I appreciate the suggestion though - thanks!

I personally think the valet thing is silly, and I am sure that the rest of the merchants would love for people to "park and walk" a little. I find that a little stroll after a meal is beneficial to digestion, and not to mention it wouldn't kill anyone of us to walk!

Went to AP Crafters for dinner...

Best burger in the city... well at least the best burger I've had.

Service was excellent, if not over-attentive.

Got the cheese curds and pretzel bread as appetizers. Would order them again... they were seriously good, but I'm tempted by the rest of the menu.

I got the Ves burger (I think)... it was excellent. Tried a bite of the pimiento/bacon cheese burger... it was also excellent.

I also had an excellent Mojito. Better than a regular mojito...

Spent $24 before tip. 7 on app, 8 on drink and 9 on dinner... $6 on tip.

I will be back. Awesome restaurant. Walking distance from my house. I'm very excited.

Thank you for your kind words. We will open they next few days at 4pm through Memorial day. Lunch service begins on Tuesday. We offer complimentary valet service everyday beggining at 5pm. There is no rush to leave direct after your meal, go and enjoy the shops of the village, there is no time limit for valet.

Attended early this evening with my daughter.

I had the BBQ Chicken Salad (chicken was moist and flavorful, as was the salad dressing) and my daughter had the Chicken Avocado sandwich, which she also enjoyed. With drinks, the total was a very reasonable $23 before tip.

Service was attentive, though it felt "over-staffed" with servers almost having to clear a path to let you out of the place. I attribute this to conservative opening weekend preparation.

Also, liked the decor, overall setup, and both food and value were excellent.

One drawback for all Westport Village eateries is I never even considered dessert there as Comfy Cow is the "go-to" spot on a nice spring evening. However, maybe that can be re-visited once weather turns cold again.

After my raves last night, the wife FORCED me to go to dinner at AP Crafters again...

and again it was great.

We had the Bruschetta (the bites where you got a piece of everything were AMAZING)

I had the double burger, medium rare with grilled onions. Same high quality again... perfect medium rare... really too much burger... it was so delicious I was forced to finish it.... the fries were excellent, and the addition of the pimento cheese ranch sauce was awesome.

The wife got the fried chicken dinner... chicken tenders is some magical batter of deliciousness. Sesame seeds, flour, not sure what else... super crispy exterior, delicious, moist interior. The ancho chili sauce was awesome as well.

I hate to call the macaroni disappointing, because that's not accurate... it was good... just not as good as everything else.

Agreed on the desserts front... they looked delicious, but comfy cow is down the street... after a filling meal, we enjoyed a walk around Westport Village and then got some ice cream.

The doughnuts are awesome and create a dilemma between it and the Comfy Cow salted caramel. Hey, maybe Crafters could serve a scoop on the side...that would be a nice sort of cross merchandising  .

From the name, I thought this was a kitchen design store at first. Now I'll have to check it out - sounds good.

Just beware of the over attentive food runners. They would keep asking if we were through, and trying to clear things before we were done. The server had disappeared for a long time, and then came back with the check and asked me to pay now because she was getting ready to leave. hmmm, nervy.
Had the Fries with gravy and the poutine as an entree, it is definitely big enough for three people.

It was really salty but I didn't mind because the Bourbon barrel beer that I had can tend to be a little sweet so it offset the saltiness. The cheese curd could have been melted a little more.

The manager was kind enough to bring some of the pretzel sticks and beer cheese for us to try, they were hot,and the beer cheese cold and it melted nicely on the stick.

I would go back, as long as they rein in those servers/runners a little as they are definitely trying to hard, and it is annoying.
