So that's where we went. HOWEVER, our original plan was to dine around 1pm but the toddler in the pack held us up until 3ish - they stop serving at 2:30 daily. So I said, "let's keep on down hwy 60 and go to White Light". My friend was like, "are you sure they're open? Have you called?". So I was like, "I looked at the website and they're open 10-11". Not sure where I got my info from, but they were closed when we got there. I placed my palms against the front glass with tears and Rick came out to greet us and let us inside long enough for me to make a dork of myself by quoting him several times on the video ("I came to see if I drop a lemon on the line, will it roll to the back on it's own?"; and "I ain't gonna order no stupid quesadilla!". He said, "oh, you saw us in that interview when we were all stoned"...

So we ate on a very toddler friendly patio at a Mexican restaurant in Frankfort (where the young Calvin was allowed to empty salt and sugar on a nearby table without a disgusted soul to see it) and I don't regret a second of it. Great times for our Satur-day-dining destination adventure.
