Ok, so I am very happy to report that on my way back from Corydon today, I took a slight detour through Georgetown (what a cute little town tucked away in the middle of Indiana!) for the sole purpose of devouring one of these Giant Gyroi and I was not disappointed!

First of all, the thing is HUGE and packed with meat (lamb for me!), plenty of sauce and veggies and my oh my was it delicious. I could not finish it all, but my wife was happy to come through with the assist. To top it off, I got a large vanilla milkshake and holy mack-arel was it large as well.

All in all, I came away with more milkshake than a human should be allowed to consume (but that never stopped me) and one hefty and mighty delicious Giant Gyro all for just over $10.

You cannot beat it and it is well worth the scenic drive to Georgetown. The wife and I are already planning a Saturday visit for a repeat performance!

Thanks Alison! It was great to meet you as well!

I've driven past your stand so many times on visits to my sister in laws house. Now that i "know" Alison i haven't driven past once when they were open.

Until today.... My wife went to her sisters for her hair thingy, and I told her to stop and get me a gyro.

She brought back the giant one. I ate half of it and I'm stuffed. Awesome. The sauce was great, the meat tender and tasty. Next time I will order with a little less onions.

My wife had the kids bacon and hummus gyro. She said it was excellent, and more than enough for her.

Now that summer is here, i can eat gyros when i go to my sister in laws instead of over cooked burgers :D

Thanks!
