Okay, I have to ask ... that innocuous little '40s-style poster could get someone in trouble in the workplace? I think I've been out of the corporate sector for just long enough to lose my sense of reality. Are there really employers like that? And will people willingly work for them?

Definitely :!: It doesn't fit into the new world of everything having to be PC. You obviously haven't been to enough sensitivity training sessions  or you would know about that.

Actually most employers, especially larger corporations would definitely be like this. The smaller mom and pop operations would be more likely to be tolerant of it. If a major corporation allows something like this to be posted they would end up being sued by somebody who works for them that doesn't like it! "Willingly work for them may" be a bad interpretation, "Have to work for them" is unfortunately more like it because that's the way it is almost everywhere.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but these pin-ups are far more enticing than a lot of the "risque" Lady Gaga nonsense that permeates the media these days! What fun!

and the thread derails further... :P

By my calculations we are 4.5 posts away from the O.P. morphing to pizza, craft beer, kids in restaurants or crappy service

I'm too lazy to go back and read the OP. What locally brewed craft beer did you enjoy with your meal?

I had a Colorado Native lager. While not local here, it's a microbrew, brewed by the AC Golden Brewing Company. Don't want to be supporting those macro-brewers.

Looks like Steve severely overestimated how long it would take to morph this thread!

The AC Golden Brewing Company is a subsidiary of MillerCoors, a joint venture between SABMiller and Molson Coors Brewing Company.

A brewer of GREAT LOCAL BEER?!

yes, I know who they are. Thought the wink emoticon would help emphasize my sarcasm.
