Dropped by there today for lunch to give it a try and I was kind of unimpressed. The food was good, but it seemed like it was mostly prepared in advance and re-heated instead of being fresh.

Had the hummus with beef - very good hummus, hefty drizzle (ok, more of a glug) of olive oil, and some spices dropped on top along with fresh parsley. The beef chunks layered on it were definitely pre-cooked - they were good and tender and what not, but they just had that texture of 'nuked'. The pita served with it was ok until I hit the halfway mark in the basket, and at that point it also seemed to become 'less fresh' - the bottom part of the basket was more like tortilla chip than pita.

The falafel I had on the side was pretty good as well, but also seemed to have been reheated. For example, the falafel at al Watan comes out hot and still a little greasy from the fryer, but these were pretty much bone dry. Might have been a different prep method, but based on the flurry of slamming microwave door and beeping just before most orders were brought out, I'm thinking it was all pre-made.

Reasonably good food for the price, just needs some fine tuning.
