Fresh brewery help? Putting on new staff?

Tony Beard, who is better known as the talented graphic artist/pizza maker stranded in the kitchen, has moved into the brewery part-time to begin gloriously working his way up, starting with keg cleaning, deliveries, and ephemera.

More importantly, his other and probably bigger part-time job will be to help me with propaganda and marketing, to start upgrading the web site, to organize a system for coordinating our purchases of t-shirts and glassware, and ultimately to set up the bricks 'n' mortar and on-line stores to peddle those "these machines kill fascists" shirts that sell much better in places like Madison, WI, than here -- where I always have to explain the joke to people who don't know who Arlo Guthrie is, much less his father.

Having access to an artist is going to be fun.

Maybe it would help if you used 27 eight-by-ten color glossy photographs with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back? Just a thought.

What makes it even funnier is that 'round here, it's the fascists themselves who end up buying one.

I'll be bringing our regular line-up; Kentucky Light (Kolsch), Kentucky Ale (English Pale/Irish Red), and our Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. We're doing a single batch Hefeweizen for the GABF Pro-am but it won't be ready in time for the Zoo

Stop by and say hello. We'll be next to Maker's Mark in the smaller "square tent."

River Bend Winery will also be doing a tasting of their wines from their Kentucky grown grapes. Riesling and Cabernet Franc will be available to interested wine tasters. I found this out through one of my customers that asked if I would please post this. Have fun everyone!
