The equipment (cookline) requires much more gas than a double stack pizza oven requires.

Scott,

this might get me the a-hole award of the day, but I just wanted to point out that the apostrophe in your slogan is wrong. Maybe you've been told this before. Maybe it's come up on this listserv before. Who knows. I only mention it because it drives me nuts everytime I see it.

I know it is bad form to correct grammar on a discussion board. I'm making an exception here because it is not a correction of a post but what seems to be a business slogan.

I don't think it gets you the a-hole award, but in the future if you want to avoid potentially getting that award, there is the PM function.

I have been lucky enough to have been inside and it looks great. I am very excited for the opening which should be in the next couple of weeks. Good luck to all involved

I wish them luck as well as it is much the same concept I had in mind. I looked at that location before it was rented and turned it down because of the bad parking situation. Hope that works out for them. Night won't be such a problem, but during the day you are very limited. But good luck and get a good head start on me before I raise the bar when I find the right location. I live right down the street and look forward to a good burger any time. Bill Shady Lane Cafe

Scott Rudd wrote:Sorry but, they are unable to opening today. It was discovered that there is a Natural Gas problem...or lack there of. If we turn the gas on we suck the gas out of the rest of the center. So, our friends at LG&E are having to run a new supply line. Just thought you might want the details.

Three weeks later ... any news on this, Scott? I noticed last night that the "Coming Soon" sign is still up. :(

Robin,
The next time you drive by notice the pile of dirt out by Frankfort Ave. and the Alley. The Gas line is being installed along with the MSD required grease traps.

So, Bluegrass Burgers is progressing and I know they are very excited on opening. I will see if they have a projected opening date and advise!

Cheers,

Is it open yet? The number listed on line has been disconnected.

YAY!

One follow-up question, though. "Tonight"? Don't they open for lunch?

A friend of mine posted a pic of his burger and fries from there on facebook moments ago, so if anyone is eagerly awaiting their opening and trying to figure out when they open today exactly, they are open now! The picture looked AWESOME, too.
