Hmmm...also, looking at route maps, I just discovered that "you can't get there from here" on the bus.

Looks like we'll be mooching rides both ways. ;)

I tried that once, too (circa '98?), and found that I could in fact ride the bus from Rich O's to BBC St . Matthews. There were two trasnfers, and it took almost three hours, with no hope of evening return service.

All this may have changed, but is it any wonder that I don't feel as if this is a civilized country? Covering an equivalent distance in almost any similar-sized European metro area would take, what, 40 minutes -- tops?

Ok, who's in for this tonight? I'd like to go but want to see who else is in? I see the previous posters. Anyone else?

I often have made it much faster on a bike -- a little more than an hour each way.

We're setting up the room as I write. Hope you all can make it.

It used to be real easy to get to Richo's and back, until the St. Matthews Metro station closed. Clean, fast service to the Grantline Metro and a short walk up the hill to the Public House. Last car back to St. Mathews left the GL Metro at 11:00 PM. Man I miss those days!

Kudos Roger and Stone Brewing on a great event last night. You pulled out the big guns and got the mayor to appear and present the civic awards, and then Stone pulled out the big guns and made all of that great beer available.

Truly a fun event, and I appreciate your hard work to get this event in place on top of everything else you all have going on.

I second that emotion. I had a great time last night and got to meet Greg and Aaron from Stone and drink some of their 10th Anniversary on tap! Delicious. Killer event; kudos to Roger and his staff.
