Indi's in Jeffersonville..... YAY!!!

I loved it when Indi's East opened on Frankfort Ave. years ago in the spot that later became Allo Spiedo's. So close. Now, Jeffersonville will be closer and safer than Broadway.
I'm going to hate it if a toll booth goes up.

I don't feel that the one on 12th and Broadway is exactly "in the 'hood".
I think most people have a great misconception about how "unsafe " the West End really is.
I drive around delivering stuff all over the West End. Outside of a few areas(projects) where I probably wouldn't go at night; for the most part it's really not that bad. From what I've seen, Portland is probably now the worst. I think that once they tore down the old projects, that's where a majority of the former tenants have re-located. It's a shame because there are some really neat old houses down there.

Newburg and West Buechel, too, which helps us understand what happened to Bashford Manor Mall and the Showcase Cinemas. It's not a race thing, of course, but a poverty thing.
