I will definitely keep in touch and will check the forum everyday to see how my guys are doing, please post any problems so can I pull their ears from there, . WOW!!! That's HUGE!!! Congratulations, Fernando! What an awesome opportunity, and I know you will excel! But your title on you post literally scared me - I thought we were going to lose you forever! My very best friend from down here in FL has just moved to Louisville and I am eager to have her really enjoy it the way I did...and I have designs on getting us back to KY, too...

Major congrats! Really very excited for you and so glad that you are only going temporarily and not leaving us.

Just to clarify given some of the postings: you're not going until November and then only for 6 weeks, right? A number of folks seemed to think you were leaving now and gone for a long time , and I just wanted to clear this up.

Thanks everybody. Deb you are right I'm not leaving until November the 11 and will comeback December 28, so I'm only gone for less than 6 weeks and the restaurant will be in good hands, my sou chef will be in charge, my wife will be running the restaurant with Marcos my partner and brother in law. Kim I will definitely post my experiences at Le Cordon Bleu and Paris.
