I'll give Tony this much...he's not afraid to meet a competitor head on. The paint wasn't even dry at Naked pizza before he had his own "healthy" crust...and now it appears he's in the "site selection" mode for his own coal fired pie. :?

Looking forward to trying your pie Maddy, it's a nice niche and should be a hit. BTW, I hope you're going to have a good selection of "craft beer"...lest the beer Nazi's start pissing and moaning.

Do we have hours of operation yet ?

That would be correct.

The word 'craft beer' almost makes me nauseous these days...

...the "craft" beer selection is about 80th on my list of important things when deciding on a place to get pizza (or any other food, for that matter), and I'd venture to guess 95% of people here & anywhere else feel the same.

I think one (or two) pizza ovens will make a mighty small contribution weighed against LG&E. :P

If its good pizza I dont care if they burn tires for fuel but then again Im not on the global warming train.

I'm all for the environment, but you've got to be rational. We have coal-fired power plants in this region. We permit home fireplaces and charcoal grills. A couple of pizza ovens more than carry their social weight in ways that more than trump a tiny carbon contribution.

While not on the top of my list when choosing to try a place, it does factor in when deciding on restaurant X vs. Y later on. All else equal, I'm going somewhere I can get a good beer.

1. Food
2. Service
3. Beer
4. Location

Justin, my husband is a beer nut so we will have 10 beers on tap. We are working with a great beer/bar supplier that lives and breathes beer so we will be relying on him for suggestions. I am not familiar with the beers in this area. Is there anything you prefer? I love the root beer suggestions. We had a great product from Seattle called Thomas Kemper. Do you have anything like that made locally here? And while we are at it what about those Kentucky wines?

BTW we are on Facebook as Coals Artisan Pizza

I'm sure the beer Nazi's will be happy to tell you what "pairs" well with Artisan Pizza

Joking aside, Bell's Two Hearted Ale is a nice choice and readily available. With 10 taps available you should be able to satisfy everyone's palette

Root Beer = Abita

In addtion to the others, Falls City would make a good local choice. Maybe a rotating Three Floyds and/or Founder's product?

All local and all good. I'm a huge fan of rotating taps. I like to try something new as often as possible.
