Totally agree. That was a very cute tongue-in-cheek soapbox response, and I feel you. Knowing what we know from being on the service side, I get stressed if I feel my party is not following those "rules". Not exactly because you/we created them, but because we've heard plenty of the bitching from fellow workers (of course we've also done some bitching, I just like to blame things on others whenever possible) and I don't want to be the guest that gets pointed to from behind closed swinging doors for being a self-absorbed princess. But the older I get, the less I care. Maybe because I no longer care to flirt with all the cute waiters and kitchen boys .
