Would love to go but I'm confused on the date. It says Thursday November 11, 2010 but then at the bottom it says to R.S.V.P. by November 20, 2010. So, is it in December or this Thursday?

I received my callback fro, 610 Magnolia. The dinner is this Thursday. There is a wait list. The typo, which has been corrected, was the November 20 date.

Chef Lee was just on WHAS11 noon news. I suspect the wait list will be getting even longer.

Both Chorben & JVH from 610 had a little trouble getting an account created here, so I was asked to relay some information-

Nobody has to have a hard time getting an account here as long as they can read instructions and enter their real name in real-world format as their user name. Anonymous and cryptic monikers, however, are ignored.

I'm terribly sorry if I appeared to be whining or sniping about account creation trouble- I was merely clarifying why someone who isn't directly employed by 610 would be relaying such information. Thanks!

No, Zach, you didn't, and no offense was intended. I just get frustrated seeing how many people try to join the forum with monikers, and it's a shame. I can't really do it any other way, though, because we get dozens of spammer registration efforts daily, and the only reasonable way I can sort out the real people is to use a very specific registration rule as a sort of artificial-intelligence check.

Tell your guys that we'd be delighted to have them in the forum, and they can hit me with Email at rgarr@louisvillehotbytes.com if they'd like me to try to dig out their application and fix up the user name. It's best if they can remember the user name they tried to register.
