In my opinion in everything else starts tasting bad I may try this but until then I will certainly avoid it at all costs. During my world travels for work I have been "treated to" a wide variety of local "delicacies" the majority of which are sweetbreads of what type or another. I personally think most of them, while not bad are an acquired taste, one that I am not going to be in a hurry to acquire!

I promise you, this dish is exceptional, by anyone's standards. I called it the gateway drug because it segues non-offal diners into the nasty-bits. Totally addicting. Really. You won't even know you are eating variety meat.

I could tell you it's cornmeal encrusted cod and you'd believe me.

Oh now come on!

Can I just have another slice of headcheese and be done with it?
