Yeah....19 cents for a piece of cheese I CAN handle....what I can't handle with them is 30 cents for a slice of tomato.

On the subject of Mcdonalds. I've tried this, minus the extra bun, all I can say is it is filling....

The McGangBang ranks up there in the holy pantheon of WTF. It's a sandwich made from a double cheeseburger and a McChicken sandwich — where you put an entire McChicken sandwich inside a double cheeseburger.....

I believe it is a redundancy to say "lame McDonald's."

Lame is understood in the name.

Stamp out and abolish redundancy, folks.

I'm beginning to recover from a depressing airport day, i.e., time to kill and nothing except monopolistic chain-think in which to kill it.

This reminds me of when I would go to Eastern Parkway Denny's late at night and they would tell me they didnt offer grilled cheese between certain hours. I guess the Chef with the recipe didnt work 24 hours a day.

I am kind of a big deal.

I always keep a Kashi or two in the freezer for occasions such as the one described.

$1.19 seems remarkably cheap for a double cheeseburger, even a small one like McDo.

Reminds me of the time when I order a Double Cheeseburger, when it was still on the $1 menu, plain add mayo and they charged me .30 extra for the mayo.

I would think after midnight is when you would sell the most of the smaller items and less of Big Macs or whatever. For an operation as streamlined and efficient as McDonalds you would think making any regular menu item would be no problem night or day.

Whatever you think of McDonald's, they know how to make food cheap that a lot of people buy and sell it at considerable profit. So if this is a bad move and they end up losing sales, they'll quickly change. It may be plastic food, but they know how to sell it.

I usually get my late-night fix at White Castle. Nothing satisfies like greasy, oniony burgers and a gargantuan Big Red.
