iron chef America

by todd richards » Fri Jul 20, 2007 5:58 pm

I spoke to a couple of chefs whom have not aired and they said the season will start again July 29th, 2007.
The first of nine whom have not aired will be Ben Ford of Ford’s Filling Station.
Over the next 13 weeks they will air the rest of the tapings.

The nine are:

Ben Ford

Kurt Boucher

Mary Dumont

Tony Liu

Michael Carlson

Alex Guarnaschelli

Mark Tarbell

Fortunato Nicotra

US...

They have said that they are in the same boat as us but recently have made break through in finding when they will air. The list is not in order but it does show that we are not alone in our pursuit. In total it was 19 of us in which divides in to 22 weeks of air time. The delay, they are hearing, is from The Food Network Launching new shows...

Is that the word, that Todd won? Yes, the Iron Chefs don't lose too often, that is for sure, so that sure would be an accomplishment if it's not speculation.

I think Chris is just cheerleading, and of course we're all cheering for Todd.

Food Network takes confidentiality VERY seriously, though, and it's my understanding that all participants had to sign a tough, legal and binding non-disclosure agreement. We won't know who won 'til the 60 minutes are ovah ... but I'm betting on Todd, too.

They just showed it again. First time I ever got to see our esteemed host. I'm glad I watched it, as I wasn't sure if Robin was male or female (never saw a picture before).

That bacon looked better than you made it sound. I would be in the mood for a hot brown now, save they showed a hot wing throwdown right before it, and I'm craving it more than the Brown now. I need to go to BW3's soon, I guess. I don't know of any hot wings places other than Hooters over here in Indiana.

If anyone wants to, it'll be on again either at 1:30 or 2:30

BTW, where is the best hot brown in the area?

The Brown Hotel, of course! Just kidding, but they should after all.

Well, I did enjoy those at the Executive West, but that was a few years ago.

Maybe I need to try Buckhead's Hot Brown. Gotta find something to eat there, as I'd hate to just go there for their cheese boulders. Yum Yum!
