Thanks for the pics John. WE had a great time even though it was a bit wet! The place was packed inside AND outside. Did any other forumites attend this event?? I'm told we may be able to shake the groove thing every month at Felice!

Danny Mac's True Hollywood Story

by Danny Mac » Mon Aug 13, 2007 2:03 am

Bottom line, an announcement of a specific event that forumites can attend doesn't bother me nearly as much as a generalized promotion. Does Danny Mac's cheesesteak come to mind?

Let the truth be told.

I have a profile and 'Live Page" on http://www.louisvillemojo.com. I have many friends on there. One day after hearing a couple of my customers telling me that they heard about my place on louisvillehotbytes, I checked it out. After reading about the people that tried my place and their comments, I got excited and sent a link to the page(old site) to all my friends on-line. Quite a few people posted because they wanted to help me. Plus the food is really great. I never asked for this. I am just a good guy that works hard and happens to make some great food. I feel the same way that some of you do about the possible abuse of a wonderful site like this. I surely wouldn't do that. It seems a little tacky to me. This site is for the people to share their experiences and views. Not a big cheap shot advertising tool. People love my food and they go out of their way to spread the word for me. You should see the MANY reviews about us on mojo and you would understand.

P.S. Danny Mac's Pizza Rocks! 8)
I love you guys.[/i]

I went to Danny's on Saturday and got the cheesesteak. It rocked!

But make sure you get take out, it's really a take out joint with two tables and basically no air in the front.
