I went in a few nights ago...I'm pretty sure they did buy the building, but I'm also pretty sure that only one bro is involved now. I overheard someone say that while I was waiting on a to-go order. Who knows...I think they post on here. Maybe we'll see :?

Hey, I kinda like it. It points towards promotion laced with the aggravation
of "Hogs on Ice" It would be fun to work the kitchen there just to sit at the full service bar after a hard nights service, drinking and trying to remember
why you got into food service to begin with.

This all done whilst playing that song you hear under Nightly Specials.

Ok, I've been debating on whether or not I should post negative comments or not, but I just feel like I have to.
Last night my husband and I went to Bourbon Bros because I had seen some pretty good comments here about the food and because we live across the street and smell the scent of good bbq.
However we were really disappointed in the food and service last night. I ordered the 1/2 smoked chicken and my husband got the brisquet. When we got our food, it was all luke-warm...nothing was hot. My chicken looked like it had been torched. My husband's food was good though the portions seemed fairly small but enough to fill him up. My chicken was extremely dry...it was not appetizing at all. The sweet potato fries, though good, were still only just warm. After serving us the waitress talked to a guest for a while and then sat down and talked with someone from the kitchen for quite some time. She never once asked us if our food was to our liking--not even when she picked up our plates and very little of my chicken was touched. Finally as she brought the checks I mentioned something to her about it...the manager came over and apologized and took $4 off the bill, which we appreciated.
The dinner was disappointing to say the least....I hope that they are able to work out the kinks and really do hope I see more positive comments.

IS this place closed already?? I've been by there a couple of times this week during what I would consider prime dinner time and it's been shut down & dark!?!

Likewise, Heather. Tried to go there twice and it was closed both times. One of those days might've been a Mon or Sun (days many indie restaurants are closed) but tried last night and closed.

Ok, I've got the scoop. The mother-in-law of one of the brothers is a friend of mine. What she tells me is that the brothers father and uncle bought the building and a couple of weeks ago, the brothers were evicted from the building. Go figure.

I know! By the time I finally got around to trying the Indian retaurant there, it was a Mexican restaurant, which replaced El Nopalito in my book, and then it turned into a closed BBQ joint that I never got around to going to when it was across the street!
