I'm not sure of an opening date, but the new La Rosita on Pearl and Spring in New Albany is going to have a full bar. They have been working really hard on the new place, but I've yet to hear an opening date. Maybe Roger has heard something?

Regardless, they will have a 3 way liquor license, so they will have spirits there.

I talked to one of the Rosita's managers on Saturday, and she said that the target date is "the end of the month."

There will be a full bar, although I cannot report on specifics. As far as I know, they're still planning on having NABC on draft, exact style(s) TBD.

Hell, we could just sit in the parking lot of My Patria and eat tacos and drink tequila from the bottle.

I'm pretty sure I can come up with a better loc. In fact...

I should be good for My Patria almost any weekday after 4:00. I'm not so sure about tequila and driving from Preston. My back deck is a possible location. Tacos, Tequila, and Gipsy Kings!

French agave? Isn't that the active ingredient in the next Dogfish Head/Beer Advocate extreme collaboration?

Yes, they are, but their music is pure Latin America. Or we could be fancy and call it a French-Mexican fusion event. Fexican, maybe.

You haven't heard Volare until you've heard it performed by the Gipsy Kings.

Wait, did I just read "real Mexican", "tequila" and "offline" in the same thread? Where do I sign up?

Probably. And aged in medium toast, french oak rum barrels salvaged from the Titanic.
